Traffic Alert: Route 29 NB Closed in Md. Due to Fire
Update, 5:46 p.m.: All southbound lanes are now open on Route 29.
Original post, 5:21p.m.: Motorists should seek an alternate route along I-95 after a workzone fire closed Route 29 NB between Fairland Road and Briggs Chaney Road. A left lane is blocked heading southbound. Fairland Road is jammed in both directions between Rte. 29 and Old Columbia Pike.
