Western Ave. Reopens After Gas Leak
Update, 1:56 p.m.: All lanes have been reopened at Military Rd. and Western Ave. NW.
Original post, 11:05 a.m.:Western Ave. NW is closed between Military Rd. NW and Wisconsin Ave. because of a gas leak.

Actually it does make sense. Take a look at a map, there is one block between Wisconsin and Military Rd. where the corner of Chevy Chase Pavilion shops are located (directly across from the metro/bus area).

It is a distance of 100 feet at most. Not the most helpful description in the world, but whatever. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

This doesn't really make sense as this is a 3 way intersection not a stretch of road.
It could be closed between Wisconsin and Wisconsin Circle but not Military.
