How Is Your D.C. Street?
The District has posted an interesting web site that tracks the status of blocks in the city -- you can input your location and then see whether it's been plowed, salted, both, neither, or something called "unclassified." It also displays traffic cameras.
Give it a try and let us know -- is it useful? Up-to-date? Got suggestions or ideas? E-mail them to us or leave a comment below.

The cameras at a few key intersections are helpful, but the color-coded streets don't appear to be working for most of the side streets.
