Concrete Debris Falls from Glebe Road Overpass
All three lanes of westbound U.S. 50 have reopened after concrete debris fell onto U.S. Route 50 from the Glebe Road overpass this morning. Two left lanes of inbound U.S. 50 remain closed.
VDOT has checked out the scene and determined that the chunks of concrete were coming from the sidewalk on the overpass, not the structure of the bridge itself, according to a NewsChannel 8 report.
