Fort Hunt Rd. in Alexandria Partially Reopens After Water Main Break
Northbound Fort Hunt Rd. in Alexandria is now getting by a water main break at the corner of Belle Haven Rd. Southbound traffic is being turned around at the scene.

This is a third time in three years that Fort Hunt Road has caved in. There is a stream that runs under Fort Hunt Road. You can see the stream that runs between two homes before going under Fort Hunt Road. I hope the Fairfax County will make a concrete cuvert under the road for the stream to run through.
