Beltway and Route 50 Traffic in Maryland

Two vehicles were involved in an accident on I-95 (Outer Loop of the Beltway) at the Baltimore Washington Parkway, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration. All lanes are now open.

Some other Maryland updates:
-- Route 50 eastbound is backed up from the Bay Bridge to exit 30 (Whitehall Road).
-- Also on Route 50 eastbound, it's still very slow from 97 to the Seven River Bridge.
-- And there's heavy traffic on the west side of the Beltway, near the American Legion and the 270 spur.
