Route 50 in Maryland seeing more traffic

There is more and more traffic on Route 50 in Maryland over the last hour or so, from the 97 area all the way to Seven River Bridge, according to Maryland State Highway Administration spokesman David Buck.
He said this was to be expected, and so that means traffic is heavier now on the two main beach routes: Route 50 has more traffic, and Route 404 is closed and has a detour open due to the accident earlier. So beach-goers should expect delays.
