Traffic Alert: North Capitol NE Closed After Gunfire
D.C. police have closed North Capitol Street NE between the 1500 and 1800 blocks after a shooting in the area. Northbound Lincoln Road NE will stay open and southbound traffic on North Capitol Street will be diverted westbound onto S Street NW.

Oh of course they should. But before they're let through, they should sign a waiver saying they won't sue when they get their crazy butts shot off.

This couldn't have been a shooting in DC. Guns are illegal there. Maybe it was 2 cops shooting at each other.

Commuters should be given the option to risk the gunfire before closing the road.
