Traffic on the Beltway? Who ever heard of such a thing?

Somewhat predictably, traffic is clogged up on various parts of the Beltway. According to our handy online traffic service, there's traffic on the inner loop, the outer loop, pretty much any loop that moves. So just before 3 p.m., here's your general "Check the cameras before you leave work" advisory.
Looking at the traffic cameras at a variety of randomly chosen spots confirm the traffic in many places: I-495 North (at the American Legion Bridge) is incredibly packed in both directions. At I-495 and University Blvd. (MD-193) -- packed heading east.
I-495 North at/near the Robinson Terminal, however -- not very crowded. At I-95/I-495 at MD 210 -- ditto.
So, just check the cams if you're taking off from work and heading to parts outside of this region. (The most obvious advisory ever? Possibly.)
