Authorities Responding to Report of a Fire on Metro Tracks at Addison Road
Metro and Prince George's County fire and emergency personnel are responding to a fire reported on a track at the Addison Road Metro station on the Blue Line. Metro spokeswoman Cathy Asato said a train operator reported seeing fire just before 11 a.m. on the track heading towards downtown and Franconia-Springfield and notified Prince George's fire personnel. Trains are single-tracking between the Morgan Boulevard and Stadium-Armory stations.
