Normal Service Resumes on Blue Line

Metro resumed normal service just before noon on the Blue Line after fire officials put out a fire on the track at the Addison Road Metro Station. Trains are no longer single-tracking but riders can expect residual delays in both directions. Metro spokeswoman Cathy Asato said the fire was from a burning insulator on the track headed toward downtown.
