Traffic Alert: Rt. 1 in College Park Closed Near University Blvd.
Rt. 1 in College Park is closed in both directions between University Blvd. and Metzerott Rd. as police investigate a an accident involving a car and a motorcycle. NBC 4 is reporting one person was killed in the crash. Southbound Rt. 1 traffic must go west onto University Blvd, while northbound traffic must turn onto Tecumsah St. From Tecumsah St., drivers can access Greenbelt Rd. or Rhode Island Ave. Police have given no indication when Rt. 1 will reopen.
