Congestion on I-95 in Maryland After Tanker Crash
Police blocked off the two right lanes of southbound I-95 to work on a tanker truck crash before Route 198 (Sandy Spring Road) at the Howard-Prince George's County line. It's causing a big backup southbound on 95 but there also is slow traffic heading north.
Alternatives: Use Routes 100, 175 or 32 to the southbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway, Route 1 or Route 29 (Columbia Pike) as alternate routes.
