Morning Delays on Beltway in Virginia
[8:51 a.m. update: Both loops of the Beltway have been cleared, but watch for continuing delays.]
Original Post: There are two accidents slowing travel on both the inner and outer loops near Eisenhower Avenue.
The one on the inner loop involves two tractor trailers and a car. The right lane is blocked at Eisenhower Avenue. The outer loop crash involves two cars. They are between Eisenhower Avenue and Van Dorn Street.
That information comes from the Wilson Bridge Project, which is monitoring traffic through the work zone.

Does anybody know if DC handles roadkill at all? There been this smashed crow on 23rd in front of the State Department like, all week. One of its wings flaps in the breeze from every car that drives past. It's seriously morbid. Who can you call to get rid of the damned thing?
