This is so irritating. The Van Dorn exit is already terrible, as is the Telegraph Rd exit- and since the Eisenhower exit (174) is closed, you have to use them. Can't VDOT do anything right?
It took me two lights to get through the S. Van Dorn exit light tonight. It's down to one lane and everyone has to merge left. People blocked the intersection; it was a nightmare.

Of all the terrible places for this to happen...the Vine Street intersection is on the hill where Van Dorn passes under the Beltway. With the Eisenhower Connector closed, the prime detour is unavailable, so you have to use either I-395 or Telegraph Road to get back and forth for now. Ugh.
