The Week Ahead in Traffic and Transit

Construction of the Dulles Corridor Metro Project will require additional road closings this week.
The Leesburg Pike service road will be closed at Industrial Way on Friday, Sept. 4 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Chain Bridge Road south will be closed at International Drive beginning tonight and continuing through Thursday, Sept. 3, from 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m.
The right lane of International Drive north will be closed near Chain Bridge road during those hours on the same evenings.
The right lane of Leesburg Pike west will be closed at Westpark Drive from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. through Thursday, Sept. 3. On Friday it will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
Metro will have a Riders' Advisory Council meeting Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are open to the public and held in the lobby level meeting room at Metro's headquarters, 600 5th Street, N.W. Those interested in attending may call 202-962-2891 for more information.
