Traffic Alert: Delays on Southbound I-295
UPDATE (4:59 p.m.): Crews at the scene quickly cleared the accident, and they have reopened all the lanes on southbound I-295 at East Capitol Street SE, according to D.C. Department of Transportation spokesman John Lisle.
ORIGINAL (4:47 p.m.): A three-car accident is creating backups on southbound I-295 at East Capitol Street SE. One lane is getting by.
