Traffic Alert: All Accidents Cleared on I-66 at Route 28
Updated, 8:34 a.m.:All lanes are open on I-66 in both directions.
Updated, 8:12 a.m.:The accident on I-66 East has been cleared, but traffic remains slow. Rescue crews block two lanes on I-66 West in the same area as they clear a separate accident.
Two lanes are blocked on I-66 eastbound at Rt. 28. Traffic is backing up, but gets by to the right and left of the accident. Westbound I-66 also slows because of an accident that is blocking the left lane in the same area.
