Traffic Alert: U.S. 1 Reopened After Fatal Accident
Updated 8:56 a.m.: U.S. 1 has reopened after the earlier accident.
U.S. 1 is closed in Woodbridge between Opitz Blvd. and Woodside Dr. as police investigate a fatal accident involving a pedestrian. Northbound traffic is diverted at Opitz onto I-95. Northbound I-95 is slow from the Occoquan to Lorton. Northbound 395 is slow from Edsall Rd. to King St.
