One Lane Closed On Route 50 Westbound
3:45 P.M. UPDATE: Westbound lanes are all open now, according to the Maryland State Police.
UPDATE: As of 1:45 p.m., one westbound lane of Route 50 (on the eastern side of the Bay) is still closed.
ORIGINAL POST: There's still one lane closed going westbound on Route 50, due to an early morning accident involving two tractor-trailers on Route 50, east of 404. The Maryland State Police reported that the accident happened at 1:50 a.m., and lanes going in both directions were shut down for a time. By 10 a.m., they had opened all but one lane going westbound. So for anybody heading in the direction of D.C., be advised.
