Three Lanes Closed On Inner Loop In Maryland [Updated -- All Lanes Open]

6 P.M. UPDATE: The Maryland State Highway Administration says that all lanes are now open. The lanes reopened at about 5:55 p.m., the state police said.

ORIGINAL POST: Three of the four lanes on the inner loop of the Beltway are closed because a tractor-trailer jackknifed at I-495 and River Road. The accident, the second to occur in Montgomery County since the evening rush began, was called into the Maryland State Police just before 5 p.m. State troopers and State Highway Administration representatives are on the scene working to clear it. The state police also said that nobody needed a trip to the hospital.

Read about the rest of the roads in my roundup of Beltway traffic.
