Headaches on the Horizon

Columbia Pike Area Closings
The eastbound curb lane of Columbia Pike and S. Quinn Street near the ramp for Washington Blvd. will be closed for about two weeks as part of an Arlington County water system improvement project.

Weeknight Metro Delays
People traveling on Metro after 9:30 tonight should be prepared for delays. Metro has maintenance and repairs scheduled on every line this week, so trains in many locations will share one track:

Red Line passengers traveling between the Medical Center and Grosvenor-Strathmore stations should add at least 20 minutes to their travel time as Metro replaces rail fasteners and makes tunnel and bridge repairs;

Orange Line passengers traveling between New Carrollton and Cheverly stations should add at least 30 minutes to their travel time while Metro replaces rail fasteners;

Blue Line passengers traveling between Foggy Bottom-GWU and Arlington Cemetery stations should add at least 30 minutes to their travel time while Metro replaces rail fasteners;

Green and Yellow lines: In preparation for the Columbus Day weekend station closures of Waterfront-SEU and Archives Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter stations and the Green and Yellow lines of L'Enfant Plaza Station, Green Line trains will share one track between Navy Yard and Mt. Vernon Sq/7th St-Convention Center stations, and Yellow Line trains will share one track between Pentagon City and Mt. Vernon Sq/7th St-Convention Center stations.

Telegraph Road Ramp Closing
As part of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project, the exit ramp from the inner loop to Pershing Avenue will be closed tonight for construction. Motorists should use the next exit from the inner loop to Telegraph Road northbound and turn right onto Pershing Avenue.

I-66 Lane Closure
The left lane of eastbound I-66 between Haycock Road and Great Falls Street will be closed Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
