Headaches on the Horizon
New Pattern on Route 28
Watch for lane closings and flagger operations at the Route 28/Frying Pan Road interchange east of Dulles Airport after the morning rush on Friday as crews redirect traffic for the partial opening of the interchange.
Northbound and southbound traffic on Route 28 will then reach eastbound Frying Pan Road by new ramps. Westbound Frying Pan Road traffic will continue to use the annoying traffic signal to reach both directions of Route 28. The whole thing is scheduled to be done later this fall.
