Minor Metro Bus Accident and Conn. Ave and M St. NW
UPDATE (10:11 a.m.): Metro says that the cab driver was at fault in this morning's fender bender. Spokesman Steven Taubenkibel said that the cab driver involved in the accident has been cited for making an improper lane change. "He cut in front of the bus," Taubenkibel said. The bus, which was empty, had been heading to the Montgomery bus division.
ORIGINAL (9:24 a.m.): A Metrobus and taxicab got into a "minor fender bender" at about 9:15 a.m. today near the intersection of Connecticut Ave. NW and M St. NW, said Metro spokesman Steven Taubenkibel.
It was not immediately clear who was at fault, but Taubenkibel said there were no customers on the bus and no injuries.
