Morning Commute: Rain + Traffic = Fun

The delightfully terrible weather today is adding a fun element to our region's delightfully terrible morning commutes. How's this impacting you? Let us count the ways:

-- I-66 East is backed up due to congestion from the Beltway on back to Fairfax County Parkway. It's a slog.
-- I-395 North is backed up due to congestion pretty much from the 14th Street Bridge on back to the Beltway. If you're taking it, be aware -- it'll take some time.
-- I-95 North has delays from Lorton to Woodbridge and further south.

-- MD 75, north and south, is closed at Price Road due to a collision.
-- New Hampshire Avenue (just after crossing over from D.C. into Maryland) has potential delays north and south.

-- There's reports of a power outage near 16th Street and Georgia Avenue NW (just south of the Beltway). Be aware of possible traffic light outages. (UPDATE: This is confirmed by Pepco, check out this post.)
