Note to MARC riders in Silver Spring: elevators out
MARC says the elevators that help Brunswick Line riders get from one side of the platform to the other in Silver Spring have been vandalized and are out of service. MARC says it hopes to have them working again by Wednesday morning.
Knocking out the elevators means that for some riders who can't use the stairs, it's going to be a long walk around the transit center construction site to get to the platform in the afternoon or get to the office in the morning.
