Traffic Alert: Delays on Bay Bridge

Drivers who use the Chesapeake Bay Bridge as a commuter route probably have looked out the window and anticipated this: Because of the bad weather, two-way traffic operations on the westbound span are suspended this afternoon.

That means only two lanes on the bridge are available to eastbound traffic heading home from work. It's possible that could change later in the rush hour. You can get the latest conditions by calling 1-877-BAYSPAN, or clicking on this link.
