Woman Struck on Inner Loop of Beltway in Silver Spring
A woman was struck by a vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway in Silver Spring earlier this morning.
The incident occurred at 5:14 a.m., according to Cpl. Paul Schur of the Maryland State Police. It took place between Colesville Road and University Boulevard.
It's under investigation and no further information is available, Schur said. The inner loop was briefly closed in the area, but all lanes are now open.
