Delays on Pennsylvania Avenue inbound
A multiple-vehicle accident in the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Silver Hill Road in the District Heights area, involving a federal protective officer's vehicle, has snarled inbound traffic, according to Prince George's County Police spokesman Henry Tippett.
Tippett said he didn't know what happened, how many cars were involved, which agency the federal police officer works for or that person's condition. "Evidently they're handling their own," he said.
The accident happened at 8:09 a.m. Traffic is being detoured around the accident scene.
