Commuter Alert: Possible overnight flooding
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the region until Thursday morning. Capital weather gang is reporting that rainfall may cause severe and unexpected flooding. According to the weather service release, rainfall rates of 2-2.5 inches in 3 hrs may be possible between 8pm and 3am tonight.
The press release warns that as little as 2 feet of water can sweep a vehicle off the road. Please stay alert for any warnings and do not attempt to drive on flooded roads. Check Capital Weather Gang for updates.
