Headaches on the horizon

Interstate 95
A single right lane of I-95 south from Lorton Road (Route 642) to Gordon Boulevard (Route 123) will close Tuesday night for snow removal.

Road work suspension
The Virginia Department of Transportation will open travel lanes temporarily closed because of construction or maintenance work from noon Wednesday through Sunday. Construction zones with concrete barriers and orange barrels will remain in place.

Alexandria sidewalks
The city announced that enforcement of Alexandria's sidewalk snow clearance ordinance will be delayed until noon on Wednesday, because of the heavy amount of snow that fell.
