Headaches on the horizon

I-66 overnight
The left through lane of westbound I-66 will close between Haycock Road and the Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Wednesday. The closings are needed to deliver equipment and begin excavation in this work area of the Dulles Metrorail project.

The left lane of eastbound I-66 from just west of the Dulles Connector Road to Great Falls Street will also be closed each night through Wednesday.

Leesburg Pike in Tysons
The right lane of both directions of Leesburg Pike (Route 7) between Westpark Drive/Gosnell Road and the Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) underpass will close from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Wednesday. Workers on the Dulles Metrorail project will be performing utility work, placing barriers, and excavating in the area. Entrances to all businesses and shopping centers will remain open, but drivers should stay alert and also be aware of permanent service road closures along this stretch of Leesburg Pike. This work was rescheduled because of the snow storm.
