Water main break, accident slow Arlington traffic

Arlington County emergeny officials are reporting two significant disruptions to traffic this morning. At the eastbound U.S. 50 exit ramp to Washington Boulevard, the left lane is shut down due to a water main break. The break has been repaired but road repairs will continue through the rush hour, officials said.

At North Carlin Springs Road and North George Mason, a flipped vehicle near the intersection has caused significant traffic delays. Fire officials are on the scene, and officials advise motorists to seek alternate routes.
