Left lane of I-66 West closing for repairs this morning
9:30 A.M. UPDATE: Scratch that. The lane closure has been canceled for today and will be rescheduled to take place on a later date. The Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project will have no lane closures from today through noon Monday, Dec. 28.
The snow/ice/slush and holiday traffic not making your morning commute interesting enough? Here's something for you: I-66 West will have its left lane closed between Great Falls Street and Route 267/Dulles Connector Road later this morning. The work is due to an emergency pothole repair and will begin at 9:30 a.m. If you're heading to Dulles, heading west or just trying to get to the office, this could stymie you, so plan accordingly and add extra time to your trip.
