Lights out at Pennsylvania Avenue and Suitland Parkway intersection

8 A.M. UPDATE: Lights are still out in all directions at 8 a.m.

ORIGINAL POST: Traffic lights are out in all four directions at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Suitland Parkway in Maryland, the U.S. Park Police reported. The lights have been down since about 5:45 a.m., and there's currently no timetable on when the lights will be restored. The intersection is right near where Pennsylvania Avenue reaches the Beltway.
