MARC updates holiday schedule
Here's the latest from the Maryland Transit Administration.
Thursday, Christmas Eve
In anticipation of the early release of many employees, the MTA says, it has arranged for some extra trains on all lines.
In addition to "S" schedule on all lines, trains we will operate the following on Christmas Eve only:
Penn Line
-- Train 405, 5:55 am Baltimore departure, will operate.
-- A train departing Washington at 2:50 pm will make all stops to Perryville.
Camden Line
-A train will depart Washington at 2 pm, making all stops to Camden.
Brunswick Line
-- Train 871 will operate through to Martinsburg.
-- Trains 891, 875, and 879 will make all stops "as requested" to the smaller stations not normally served.
Christmas Day, Friday
No service.
Dec. 28, 29, 30, and 31
"S" Schedule on all Lines, including operation of Penn Line Trains 405 and 530. Train 871 on the Brunswick line will also operate on these days.
New Years Day, Jan. 1
No service.
