MetroAccess service to resume at 5 a.m. Tuesday
MetroAccess, which provides rides for the elderly and disabled, is set to return to widespread service at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Metro officials said in a release.
The rides were provided on a limited basis to the neediest of customers on Monday because of the danger posed by icy roads. Metro warned that road conditions could still be a factor Tuesday and might limit locations that could be served. That might also slow down the service.
To confirm or cancel a trip, customers can call 301-562-5360 and press 2 for trip status.
