Montgomery County lifts snow emergency

Montgomery County officials lifted the declaration of a snow emergency at 2 p.m. Monday. District officials lifted the city's snow emergency Monday morning. Declarations in both jurisdictions prompted parking restrictions and allowed taxis to charge surcharges. Those rules are no longer in effect.
