Delays continue on Blue and Yellow lines; stations are open
Update (11:35 a.m.): Metro said in a statement that a customer reported a suspicious item around 9:50 a.m. Metro Transit Police and the Arlington County Fire Department responded to the scene and determined that the item was not harmful.
Update (11:10 a.m.): Metro reports that the situation at Pentagon City has been resolved but delays continue in both directions.
Update (10:50 a.m.): According to a statement from Metro, Pentagon City and Crystal City stations on the Blue and Yellow lines are temporarily closed while Metro Transit Police investigate a suspicious package reported on the tracks at Pentagon City station around 9:50 a.m.Friday.
Free Metrobus shuttles are running between the Braddock Road and Reagan National Airport stations.
Original post:Metro reports that Pentagon City Station is closed due to a suspicious package. Shuttle bus service has been requested between Braddock Road and Pentagon stations. Yellow and Blue line riders should expect delays.

Trains are not going through. Shuttles are only taking people to the airport.

Best bet is to see who is going your way and share a cab downtown.

Ok, so the press release states "free Metrobus shuttles are running between the Braddock Road and Pentagon Metrorail stations"
but they are never clear... are the stations closed - as in you can't enter, but trains are still passing through, or are the stations closed and no trains are moving through (thus turning around at the pentagon and at the airport)
