VDOT to suspend lane restrictions for the holidays
The Virginia Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that it will suspend lane restrictions on most major roads and highways for Christmas and New Year's.
The agency plans to open lanes that have been closed due to construction or maintenance beginning at noon Wednesday through Sunday, and then again Dec. 31 through Jan. 3.
