Camden Line MARC train hits a tree, delays and a cancellation follow

Train 843 on MARC's Camden Line struck a tree this morning and has been significantly damaged, the Maryland Transit Administration reports. Passengers will be offloaded at the Dorsey station and transferred to train 845. Due to this, train 845 will run 20 to 30 minutes late. Train 842, heading northbound to Baltimore, will be canceled. No injuries were reported.

7:55 A.M. UPDATE: Trains are running 15 to 20 minutes late on the Brunswick Line between Boyds and Gaithersburg because of downed trees on the tracks and speed restrictions.
