For MARC and VRE travelers

7:45 A.M. UPDATE: Owing to severe MARC delays, Metro will honor MARC tickets, the Maryland Transit Administration just announced.

ORIGINAL POST: Commuters taking the MARC train this morning, be alert of closures impacting northbound and southbound treks. The Penn MARC 407 has ben canceled, the Maryland Transit Administration just announced. The next available southbound trains will be the MARC 509 and 411. Additionally, the Penn MARC 406 has been canceled, and the next available northbound train will be the MARC 503. For more information on MARC trains and schedules, go here.

VRE travelers will also see delays: Train #326 is moving but running 20 minutes late, en route to Manassas (circa 6:40 a.m.).
