Headaches on the horizon

Branch Ave. lane closure
The southbound left lane of Branch Avenue (Route 5) at Burch Hill Road/Earnshaw Drive remains closed 21 hours a day because of an icing problem. The only hours the lane is open are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the afternoon rush.

Rockville Pike lane closings
Watch for northbound and southbound lane closings from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and again from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday at Randolph/Montrose Road. This is for construction of the new interchange.
