Headaches on the horizon
Roads may be icy
The Capital Weather Gang says light rain and sleet will arrive by mid-to-late Thursday evening. Though temperatures may not drop much below freezing overnight, some travel troubles, especially north and west of I-95, are possible by morning. Road crews are out to treat the surfaces. Stay back from their equipment and don't try to pass.
Metro says the trains will operate normally on Friday morning, but there may be some delays and detours in the buses if the roads are icy.
