MARC train cancellation from Perryville

Update, 6:50 a.m.: Penn Line train 513 will be operating on time, but starting at the Edgewood station. (Another train, Amtrak 151, will take passengers from the Perryville and Aberdeen stations.) So train 513 will be on time from Edgewood and heading south from there.

Update, 6:25 a.m.: Penn Line train 509 has been canceled entirely. The next scheduled train heading from Perryville to Washington is train 513, and it will be running 25 to 30 minutes late because of train congestion in Baltimore. Train 513 is normally scheduled to arrive at Union Station in Washington at 8:05 a.m.

And if you're heading out of Washington on the MARC Penn Line, train 408 has been canceled. That train normally departs at 7:37 a.m., but no crew or equipment is available. The next northbound train on the Penn Line will be train 410, scheduled to depart at 8:30 a.m.

Original post: For commuters heading to Washington from parts north: MARC train 509 on the Penn Line has been canceled from Perryville to Baltimore. The train, which was scheduled to depart Perryville at 5:40 a.m. and get to Baltimore by 6:25 a.m., was canceled because of mechanical problems. The train is still expected to operate between Baltimore and Washington. The next train for those picking up a train in Perryville is train 513, expected to depart on time at 6:30 a.m.
