Washington Metro system expects some bus delays Friday
Metro issued an update on service for Thursday night and Friday, saying that the winter weather forecast to start Thursday night could cause delays and detours to bus and MetroAccess service due to difficult road conditions. It advised customers to check Metro's website or call 202-637-7000 and say "next bus" and enter the stop ID number for bus arrival times. MetroAccess passengers can call 301-562-5360 for updates on scheduled trips.
Metro's rail service is expected to operate on close to a normal schedule, although the need to clear snow and ice from tracks could cause longer waits between trains
