D.C. Metro system to stage anti-terrorism drill
Original post: Metro Transit Police will hold a "major anti-terrorism show of force" Tuesday during rush hour at one of the agency's "busiest Metrorail station," according to a media advisory released by the agency. Metro will conduct the exercise from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. The agency won't release the location until Tuesday morning.
Officials said there is no current threat or elevated threat level in the system but the event is intended to "remind riders ... that Metro remains vigilant against terrorist activity."
Metro said about 50 officers from several Metro Transit Police units will participate in the exercise, including anti-terrorism and K-9 explosives detection teams, bomb technicians, mobile and foot patrols.
Earlier Monday, Metro announced plans to hold coordinated exercises with regional law enforcement and emergency agencies.

Why don't you deploy those 50 officers to the highest crime/robbery stations since you've had a 50% increase in robberies and 0 terrorist attacks over the last year.
The only things terrorizing Metro riders is the budget and safety record, the overcrowding, and DC school children.
