Dupont Circle north escalators out
Red Line riders: Metro reports that all entrance escalators are out of service at 20th and Q streets. The Dupont Circle station remains open. The non-working escalators are on the north side of the station, where you see the Walt Whitman poetry etched in the stone facing.
It's not a good idea to walk up or down those escalators, especially in the snow.

It's *definitely* not a good idea to walk up down the escalator in the snow. I broke my arm in several places in the 1996 snowstorm doing just that. That metal is slippery in freezing weather.
