From a Metro press release:

Metro officials reopened the entire Green Line at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, with trains operating the entire Metrorail line between Greenbelt and Branch Avenue Metrorail stations.

Earlier Thursday, Metro reopened a portion of the Red Line at 4:30 p.m., with trains now operating between Medical Center and Glenmont Metrorail stations. Trains throughout the Metrorail system are servicing stations every 24 to 30 minutes.

Looks like Metro's website is down.

I'm guessing all the govvies want to find out if they'll have a way to get in to work tomorrow....

So what's the status of the blue, orange, and yellow lines? Does ANYONE know?

@joebananas1: Right, but I'm assuming thousands and thousands of the gubmint folks tried checking the site all at once, just half an hour ago, as the OPM announcement came out.

I think we killed it.

WTOP states that the blue and yellow lines will open tomorrow, but not orange.

Ya-a-a-y! I have to report to work tomorrow and I depend on the above-ground Green Line to get in.

Government open. 9 stations still closed by snow. Trains every 25 minutes. Get ready to get sodomized.

Are trains really running every 25 minutes. Can't get to Metro's site, would be nice to know.
