Metro: Normal service on Tuesday
Capital Weather Gang | Plowing plans | Snow removal | Live traffic
Metro expects to deploy its normal amount of trains and buses Tuesday morning and to service both above-ground and underground rail stations at normal intervals, according to Metro spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein.
When Metro resumed much of its rail service Friday, there were speed restrictions in place for trains operating above ground due to concerns about snow covering some track components.
Metro bus and rail riders should watch out for ice on platforms and at bus stops. Bus stops in some areas may still be inaccessible, so be careful in those areas.
